Croatian Ivo Karlovic fired 21 aces (101 in tota for the week) to capture his second ATP title of the season with a 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 victory over No. 8 seed Arnaud Clement of France.
Karlovic is the first player this year to reach finals on three different surfaces (clay, grass, hard). He captured his first career ATP title in Houston (d. Zabaleta) in April and was runner-up in San Jose (l. to Murray) in February.
