Federer Claims Fifth Straight Crown

World No. 1 Roger Federer clinched a record-equaling fifth consecutive Wimbledon title after defeating arch rival Rafael Nadal 7-6(7), 4-6, 7-6(3), 2-6, 6-2 in an all-time great final at the All England Club. Federer equaled Bjorn Borg’s five consecutive Wimbledon titles between 1976-80, in three hours and 45 minutes – the third longest Wimbledon final of the Open Era.
