Nalbandian Wins First ATP Title on Home Soil

David Nalbandian will break back into the Top 10 of the South African Airways ATP Rankings after defeating fellow Argentine Jose Acasuso 3-6, 7-6(5), 6-4 in the Copa Telmex final on home soil in Buenos Aires.

Nalbandian won his eighth ATP title and first since claiming back-to-back ATP Masters Series shields in Madrid and Paris to end last season.

Agustin Calleri and Luis Horna defeated Werner Eschauer and Peter Luczak 6-0, 6-7(6), 10-2 in 86 minutes to claim their first team title in Buenos Aires.

	Corretja Won the First of Many in Buenos Aires - Spain's Alex Corretja won his first ATP title in Buenos Aires in 1994, defeating Javier Frana in the final. The title was the first of 17 career singles titles the Spaniard has won.
