Berdych Crashes Baghdatis's Birthday Celebrations With Title

Fourth-seeded Czech Tomas Berdych dropped just two points on his first serve in a 7-5, 6-4 win over eighth seed Marcos Baghdatis to win the Gerry Weber Open, one year after finishing runner-up to Roger Federer.

Berdych, 21, clinched his first title since winning ATP Masters Series Paris in late 2005. It was his third career title.
