Roger Federer successfully defended his title at the Davidoff Swiss Indoors to clinch the year-end No. 1 ranking for the fourth consecutive year.

The Swiss superstar improved his perfect 8-0 record against Jarkko Nieminen of Finland with a 6-3, 6-4 victory in 62 minutes.

Bob and Mike Bryan became the first team to win at least 10 titles in a season since 1996 - when Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde captured 12 titles.
