2008 SAP Open to be Webcast Live on B2 Networks

Andy Roddick SAN JOSE, Calif. -- The SAP Open, the Bay Area’s premier men’s professional tennis tournament, has once again teamed with B2 Networks to offer worldwide live streaming of all SAP Open matches originating from HP Pavilion. This marks the second consecutive year that the tournament will be webcast for this prestigious ATP Tour stop in San Jose that runs from February 18-24.

The SAP Open will feature American superstars Andy Roddick and James Blake and the top-ranked doubles team in the world, the Bryan Brothers. Also scheduled to compete are Chilean tennis sensation Fernando Gonzalez and German superstar Tommy Haas. In addition, B2 Networks will webcast a special singles exhibition match featuring two-time SAP Open champion and 14-time Grand Slam Champion - and arguably the best player to ever play the game - Pete Sampras. Sampras will play his exhibition match against an opponent yet to be announced on Monday, February 18 at 7 p.m. PST.

Fans interested in watching matches online will simply logon to www.sapopentennis.com and click on the words WATCH LIVE beginning on Monday, February 18. Beginning with the first serve on Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. PST, fans from all over the world with internet access will be able to enjoy watching matches through to the conclusion of tournament week on Sunday, February 24.

Daily coverage begins at 9:30 a.m. PST Monday-Thursday and continues at later times on Friday (11 a.m. PST), Saturday (1:00 p.m.) and Sunday (1:00 p.m.). Any one-session “daily pass” is US$9.95 and a weeklong pass for the entire tournament is just US $39.95.
